A daily journal of the running I do with my dog Chico. We frequently run the Steamboat Ditch Trail in Reno, Nevada. Chico helps me prepare for everything from 5Ks to Marathons. Chico is this man's best running friend.
a term taken from Maniac Magee, referring to that time in the morning before most everyone else is up and going. I will begin to use this time to take Chico for little runs. I need it and he'll love it! Enjoy the miles.

I am married to Valerie and we have two beautiful children; Michael and Allison. We also have two dogs: Chico - Golden Retriever and Sienna - Pomeranian.
