July running

The month of July got here in a hurry. In June I ran 79 miles and need 525 miles to hit the 1000 mile mark for the year. I have done the math and it will take an average of 87.5 miles per month to hit the millennium mark. This is certainly attainable, but I must not let another month like March (38.7 miles) happen.
The dogs are trail running fiends. They simply can't get enough. Sienna has become quite the trail hound and has earned the title of "trail Pom." She always turns heads and elicits comments from the other runners. Today we ran 10 miles - paver to creek and back, twice. The second time we ran it with Dan, Warren and his dogs.
I will run as part of the Coyotes in next weekend's Reno Tahoe Odyssey. My mileage total is listed as 12.2, with two of the three legs listed as "most difficult." Last year, the innaugural, was great and I expect this year to be terrific as well.
